Mary Jane McLeod, age 88 passed away on January 25, 2019 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was born on July 10, 1930 in Windsor Locks, Connecticut to Daniel N. and Mary A. (McCarroll) McLeod.

Mary moved from Connecticut to Oklahoma and had lived here for 43 years. She was retired and was employed as a cafeteria worker. She was a member of the Clark United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City and belonged to the Windsor Locks Historical Society.

Survivors include her nieces, Marjorie Gellenbeck and husband Steve of Guthrie, Katherine Herrick and husband Kendall of Johnson, Kansas, her sister Margaret Hull and husband Don of Tulsa, niece Deborah Beattie and husband Jim of Tulsa and niece Donna Champion of Tulsa and nephew Daniel Andrews and wife Kanella of Inola. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother John.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Gellenbeck and Kendall Herrick officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hays Funeral Home
