Billy "BJ" Ray Jones

Died: August 01, 2015

Billy Ray Jones "BJ", 69, of Guthrie, Ok, went to be with his heavenly father on August 1, 2015.

Billy was an Honorably Discharged Disabled Naval Veteran. He was also a lifetime Guthrie resident, during which he owned and operated BJ Painting and Sandblasting.

Billy is survived by his life companion Janet Murdock of the home. His daughter Traci Huntsman-Sneed and wife Shelta Sneed of Tulsa, OK, daughter Marie Duello of Mcloud, OK, and many nieces and nephews that all loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father John Henry Jones and Lura McGee Jones; two loving step-fathers, Arthur Cooley and Cecil Powell; his brother, John Jones, and four sisters Betty Canning, Sue McCutchen, Peggy Rogers, and Nancy DuBois.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Smith Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bob Walker of Edmond, OK, officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Visitation will be held Wednesday,12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made in Billy’s name to Disabled American Veterans, 2311 N Central Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73105.
