Lola Doll Grasz, age 98 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 in the arms of her daughter and granddaughter at her home after a brief illness. She was born on September 9, 1917 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Richard Ray and Linnie Day (Barrett) Miller.

In 1939 Lola married Edmond G. Grasz in Springfield, Missouri. They moved to Guthrie from Guymon in 1945 and also lived in Alaska for 6 years. Lola attended the Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing and playing music with her husband, dancing and sewing. Lola was very talented musician and could play any instrument by ear. She also kept an eye on the neighborhood just for fun.

Survivors include her daughter Doris Nelson of Guthrie, granddaughter Kristi Nelson and her husband Jay Davis of Edmond and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edmond Grasz on November 27, 2005, 1 son Jimmy, 2 brothers, son-in-law Kenneth V. Nelson and grandson Ken Nelson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Summit View Cemetery with Pastor Robin Grueser of the Free Methodist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
