Graveside services for George L. Gibson, 67, loving Dad and Grandpa, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2002 at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie. Burial will follow under the direction of Smith and Kernke Funreal Directors in Oklahoma City.
Gibson was born December 27, 1934 in Guthrie to Herman and Marjorie Gibson, the oldest of four children. He died June 19, 2002.
Survivors include one brother, Richard L. Gibson of Guthrie; three sons, Tony Gibson and James of Okla. City and Terrance Gibson of Dover, one daughter, Sheri Gibson of Guthrie, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Hazel, one brother, Herman, and one son, Tim.
