The world lost a special lady with the passing of Linda Elaine Wilson Fees of San Antonio, TX on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 following a brief illness. Linda died at age 81, one day shy of the 60th anniversary of her marriage to her devoted husband, James Edgar "Jim" Fees. Linda was born on June 15, 1936, in Pawnee, OK, and soon moved to Guthrie, OK, where she attended high school with Jim Fees. They married on May 2nd, 1958 in Guthrie, OK.

Jim's 49-year Air Force career took the family to Kansas, South Carolina, Turkey, and Berlin, Germany. Early in their marriage, Linda raised their two young sons with family help in Guthrie, while Jim was on an Air Force tour in Pakistan. The family finally settled in San Antonio, TX, where they became long-time residents and Linda and Jim eventually retired. After their many moves and raising their two sons, Linda enjoyed working for Perry Shankle Sporting Goods Distribution, Advanced Micro-Devices and Sony Electronics until her retirement.

Linda is survived by her husband James Edgar Fees; son Kenton Douglas Fees, his wife Elizabeth Nakane Fees, and their twin sons Holden Charles Fees and Clinton Cole Fees of Los Angeles, CA; brother Troy Douglas Wilson and wife Marie of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephew, Brenda Annette Ray Jindra, Emily Kathleen Ray Elliott, and Steven Edward Ray; and many other family members and friends.

Preceding Linda in death were her lovely mother Myrtle Malinda Lamb Wilson Davidson of Guthrie; birth father, Elmer Price Echo Hawk of Pawnee; devoted father, Harold James Wilson of Guthrie; step-father Elbert Scott Davidson of Guthrie; and beloved son James Michael Fees of Las Vegas, NV.

Linda was a vibrant, cheerful lady who loved her family deeply. She enjoyed gardening, her beloved cats, and visits with her grandchildren, Holden and Cole Fees. She was a devoted member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in San Antonio, where she dedicated her love and service to her church community. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial service was held Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in San Antonio, TX. A graveside memorial service and burial will be held at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, OK, on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
