Marie Fagan

Born: December 25, 1920
Died: August 19, 2012

Graveside funeral services for Marie Fagan, 91, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Marie was born on December 25, 1920 in Bemis, TN to William Ollin and Hazel Marie (Powell) Price. She passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 in Guthrie.

Marie was noted for the best cinnamon rolls and lemon pie in town. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family and set a great example for them in the way she lived. She always loved to play dominoes. She was known for her great sense of humor and her favorite saying was "I’m just fine and dandy."
She is survived by two sons Loyd Perdue and wife Phyllis of Guthrie and Arthur Fagan, Jr. and wife Kathy of Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters Wanda Whitson of Moore, OK and Katherine Hall and husband Ron of Camby, IN; brother Kenneth Price and wife Marilyn of Perkins, OK; sister Charlotte Eaton and husband Rick of Missouri; and nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Marie is preceded in death by one great-grandson and one great-great-grandson.

Memorials may be made to Companion Hospice, 1310 East Oklahoma Avenue, Guthrie, OK 73044.

At the family’s request, the casket will not be open at any time.
