Graveside funeral services for Verna Lunette Dennis , 76, of Stillwater, OK will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday March 10, 2015 at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, OK, with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Lunette was born on January 28, 1939 in Guthrie, OK, to Archie Randal and Verna Lois (McLain) Norris. She passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Harlingen, TX.

Lunette married Alvin Leroy Dennis in November 1959. She was a retired LPN and loved to travel via RV. She was a very outdoorsy person and just recently fell in love with her first great grandson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvin Leroy Dennis.

She is survived by her son Gary and wife Patrice Dennis of Bentonville, AR, one grandson Mike Dennis, wife Heidi and great- grandson Eli Dennis of Rogers, AR, as well as one brother Adron and wife Karen Norris of Guthrie, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, Noon - 5:00 PM

Memorials in her name may be made to the Amercian Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
