Jeffrey Daves went to save a place at the table for his family and brothers, August 27, 2020. He is now watching the over us from the greatest vantage point there is. It is difficult to put into words this Man of men. First and above all, he loved his daughters more than life itself, and never hesitated to let them know that. Jeff and his wife, Regan, shared their very best years with each other. Jeff always said, "I've done more in five years than in the last 15 or so!" Bucket list items got checked off, dreams came true, and love was never sweeter.

Jeff had a heart of gold and a smile for everyone he met, and also a joke!! He even cracked himself up on a regular basis! He was always up for an adventure into the woods, mountains, or rivers. He loved nothing more than sunsets, camo, and a cold beer. He often posted a sunset toast to Fallen Comrades. Jeff made so many people so many memories. He was a man among all men, and many adored him.

Make no mistake, though, he was a warrior at heart and in spirit. He was a true patriot in every sense of that word. Never mistake his kindness for weakness, for there was fire in his soul for his country and his fellow brothers. No doubt the best times in his life were forging relationships with men he fought and worked alongside. He rarely went half a day without referencing a past experience while he served. He was proud. Till Valhalla!!

Jeff served his country in the Army, National Guard and then continued to serve as a police officer for Sapulpa Police Department in Oklahoma. He gave his everything, so that we could enjoy our freedoms. Jeff has gone ahead to save a space at the table for his two daughters, Olivia, and Abigail, and his wife, Regan. He is also saving places for his beloved brother and sisters, Jimmy, Sue, Kay, Carla, and many beloved nieces and nephews and so many more who he cherished, too many to name. And undoubtedly, this table is alongside the Warrior Table he has gone to sup at.

We will see you soon, Love.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel.
