Pearl Luree Daniels

Born: October 22, 1924
Died: April 16, 2010

Pearl Luree Collinsworth Daniels passed away April 16, 2010 at the age of 85. She was born October 22, 1924 in Guthrie, OK to Anna Luree Haas Collinsworth and Charles Carter Collinsworth. She graduated from Guthrie High School in 1944. During WWII she worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a secretary. After the war, she married the love of her life Melvin R. Daniels on September 21, 1946. Together they had five children. She worked at the Logan County courthouse as the Logan County/District Attorney secretary for a very long time and then retired to travel.

She was a faithful member of the Guthrie Poplar Warner Church of Christ. As a devoted wife and mother, she spent endless hours creating a loving Christian home. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sherry Willson, Pam Daniels, and Debbie Cole and husband Jed, all of Guthrie, and one son, Danny Daniels and wife Debi of Edmond, OK. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren (Teresa Wehr & husband Dean, Brenda Porter & husband Shawn, Tonia Seiss & husband Sean, Barbara Warner, Brian Ochs & wife Megan, Jason Ochs, Amy Bielameowicz & husband Craig , Amanda Jefferies & husband Lee, Jeremy Daniels & wife Amy, Jon-Michael Daniels, Amber Daniels, Carol Davis & husband Bud, Becky Biggs, Tiffany Cole, Jacqueline Cole, and Zach Cole).

Surviving great-grandchildren include Patrice Moeller & husband Manuel, Jake Ward, Dustin Porter, Barrett Porter, Dayton Porter, Kristen Warner, Zane Warner, Samantha Johnson, Katelynn Siess, Sean Jacob Siess, Shannon Siess, Brittany Ochs, Aidan Ochs, Rowan Ochs, Caleb Bielameowicz, Megan Bielameowicz, Aubree Jefferies, Allison Daniels, Madison Daniels, Austin Daniels, Drew Davis & wife Jaclyn, Grace Davis, Blake Biggs and one great-great-grandchild, Lorelei Moeller.

She is also survived by one brother, Lawrence Collinsworth & wife Geraldine, two brothers-in-law, Jim Daniel & wife Betty and Johnny Daniels & wife Millie, three sisters-in-law Dorothy Hasler, Mary Ann Kulick, Shirley Mullino and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Melvin Daniels, one son, Darrell Lee, her parents, one brother, Marion Collinsworth, one son-in-law, Robert Willson and two brothers-in-law, Bob Daniels and Albert Hasler.

Funeral services, under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Poplar Warner Church of Christ in Guthrie. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Memorial donations in Pearl’s name may be made to the Poplar Warner Church of Christ or the Logan Medical Center Foundation.
