Funeral services for Richard C. Cupit, 67, of Oklahoma City are pending with Davis Funeral Home of Guthrie, Okla. He died Nov. 3, 1999 in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services for Richard Carlos Cupit, 67, of Oklahoma City, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at Graceway Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Rev. Greg Keenan will officiate, assisted by Don Demeter. Burial will be at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, Okla. at 2 p.m. under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Guthrie.
Richard was born March 21, 1932 in Sparks, Okla., to William and Arvilla (Bishop) Cupit. He died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999 at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Richard had lived in Oklahoma City for the past 13 years, moving there from Perkins, Okla. He was a former owner of a retail meat market in Perkins and was a retired volunteer fireman for Perkins. He retired in 1997 as a manager of an Oklahoma City pawn shop.
Richard married Mary Shaw on July 11, 1964 in Chandler, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Mary Cupit; one son, Richard Steven Cupit; two daughters, Pamely Oldfield and husband Charles, Karin Villalta and husband Abraham; four step-children, Bennie Joe Powell and wife Sandy, Betty Hicks and husband Ronald, Carol Panick and husband Orville, LaHonda Alhamdoni and husband Robert; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
