Born: October 11, 1938
Died: November 18, 2013

Jewell Dean (Weatherford) Bussard, 75, of Guthrie, OK, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 in Edmond, OK. She was born October 11, 1938 in Lepanto, AR, to Robert and Delzie M. (Collins) Weatherford.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, with Pastor Adrian Pollard officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Jewell was a long time resident of Guthrie. She worked in retail sales.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sonny, special friend Earl DuBois, daughter Debbie, one brother Teddy, one sister Alice Holt and her step-mother Olive Weatherford Lively.

Jewell is survived by her son Robert Dikes of California, sisters Carolyn Lynn and husband Jerry of Edmond and Billie Jean Foster of Fort Worth, TX, as well as her brothers, Jimmie Weatherford and wife June of Holiday Island, AK and James R. Weatherford of Poteau, OK. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday 3:00PM – 8:00 PM.
