February 03, 1941 - November 30, 2011


Funeral services for John C. Brewer, age 70, of Yukon, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:30 at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel, Guthrie, Oklahoma With Chaplain Gene Owen Officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie.

John was born on February 3, 1941 in Hobbs, New Mexico to William and Mary Alice (Eubanks) Brewer. He passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Oklahoma City.

He married Drusilla Wright on January 25, 1964 in Dennison, Texas. John retired from AT&T in 1995 after 33 years of service. In his spare time he loved to fish, go the lake with friends, watch OU & OSU Sports and tell jokes. He especially liked being around his friends and pets.

John is survived by his wife Drusilla, two daughters, Stephanie Rae Macklin of Yukon and Angela Brooks and her husband Paul of Oklahoma City. Three grandchildren, Jessica Ellen Weaver, Morgan Rae Weaver and Jordon Alexander Macklin. Two Great Grandchildren, Paiden Kyler Goudeau and Kendall Gage Goudeau. Also one sister, Barbara Bode and her husband Louis of Guthrie.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
