Steve Michael Braden

Steven Michael Braden died unexpectedly on August 27, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 55. He had been admitted to the hospital two days earlier and was diagnosed with cancer.

Steven is survived by his children, Brittany Braden of Edmond, OK and Stephanie Braden of Stillwater, OK; parents, Gale and Barbara Braden of Edmond, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Gayla and Gary Barentine of Edmond, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Tami and Rick Parker of Edmond, OK; former wife, Amy Braden of Edmond, OK; biological brother, Larry Rawson of Shawnee, OK; biological sister, Denise Cruea of Ohio. Steven is preceded in death by his biological sister, Cindy Hopkins.

Steven was born on December 6, 1961 in Memphis, TN to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Delaney. At the age of five, Steven was adopted by Gale and Barbara Braden.

Steven was an accomplished carpenter and fisherman. He was a good man who loved God. his family, especially his daughters, and his friends .

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 1, 2017 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Pastor Randy Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steven's life. Visitation will be held Thursday, 12:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M.
