Services for Marvin Ballard, 60, of Guthrie are pending with Community Funeral Home in Guthrie. Ballard died Friday, Feb. 7 at his home in Guthrie.

Funeral services for Marvin Ballard, 60, of Guthrie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003 at Mt. Olive Friendship Baptist Church in Guthrie with the Rev. Ray Peters, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Community Funeral Home.
Ballard was born March 24, 1942 in Guthrie to Louie and Olivia (Harden) Ballard. He died Feb. 7, 2003 at his home in Guthrie.
He was a teacher.
Survivors include one sister, Margaret N. Williams of Guthrie; an uncle, Clifford Harden and wife Bennie; one niece, Orletta Wilson of Edmond; three nephews, Ricky Williams of Edmond, Myron Williams and wife LaDonnia of Tulsa and Joey Williams and wife Rochelle of Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Myron Williams, Joey Williams, Charles Williams, Ricky Williams Jeremy Hill, Clarence Holman, Justin Hill and the Brotherhood of the church.
Flower bearers will be Helen Bolton, Carzetta Threats, Carole Hider, Grace Tipton, Jackie Holman, Romona Scott and Barbara Grant.
Viewing will take place Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
