Ann Steel
The Mulhall Enterprise
Friday, February 13, 1903
Submitted by: Debby Cook

MULHALL AND VICINITY.
Died, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.R. Peek, February 8, 1903, Mrs. Ann Steel, aged 78 years. With her husband she came to Oklahoma twelve years ago and settled on a farm near Marshall. Mr. Steel died several years ago, since then Mrs. Steel has lived with her children, the past three or four years with Mrs. Peek. She united with the Methodist church about fifteen years ago. She had been feeble and for a number of years was unable to meet for public worship with the people of God. A week ago when little Nellie Peek was taken away she expressed her readiness. "I am waiting to go," she said. The funeral was attended from the residence on Monday and her body laid in Roselawn cemetery.
