Gloria Lee Peterson

Died: February 08, 2009

Funeral services for Gloria Lee Peterson, 80, of Jenks, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gilbert Forrest of Mulhall Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Mulhall, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.

Gloria was born on May 24, 1928 in Guthrie to Lee and Ethel (Barnes) Nelson. She died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at her home in Jenks.

Gloria was a homemaker most of her life, member of the Christian Church, and enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, needlework, and outdoor activities.

She is survived by her two daughters Paula Sue Miesowitz and husband Rick of Broken Arrow, OK and Kim Mignon Miller and husband Gregory of Mitchell, SD, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Peterson in 1991, parents, and brother Doyle Nelson.
