Funeral services for Carl Joseph Bussard, 55, of Mulhall, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2009 at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie, OK with Pastor Adrian Pollard of Mulhall United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Mulhall. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Carl was born on May 13, 1954 in Guthrie to Arthur L. and Gladys K. (Getman) Bussard. He died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at his home.
Carl currently owned Carl’s Quick Stop in Orlando, OK for several years. He loved visiting with friends and family and especially picking on his nieces and nephews who knew him as "Uncle Bub".
He is survived by his long-time companion Jean McMillan of the home; three brothers David Bussard and wife Linda of Orlando, Dennis Bussard and wife Bonnie of Mulhall, and Arthur Bussard, Jr. and wife Jenny of Eufaula, OK; three sisters Karen Willoby and husband John of Eufaula, Debbie Clark and husband Stan of Guthrie, and Kathy Gallaway and husband Garye of Stillwater, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
