Herman Wayman Ficken

Herman Wayman Ficken was born August 31, 1934 in Lovell, Oklahoma to Herman Washington and Minnie Ficken. He passed away October 27, 2020 in Hennessey, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years.

Wayman graduated from Marshall High School. Afterwards he joined the Army stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas. He was a missile instructor while in the Army. During his life he worked in oil field for many years. He worked for Logan County as a grader operator for years until he retired. In his life he served as a auxiliary policeman and served for several years as a city council member.

Survivors include his daughter Linda Morris of Crescent; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 46 years, Helen.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P M Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Oakview Cemetery in Lovell with Rev. Paul Montgomery officiating.
