Funeral services for Wanda Mae Thomason, 58, of Crescent were held at 10 a.m.Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Crescent with the Rev. Mike Channel officiating. Interment followed in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home in Crescent.
Wanda Mae was born July 12, 1944 in Crescent to Alfred Ray Elston and Allie Mae (Hicks) Elston. She died March 28, 2003 in Guthrie.
She loved fishing, gardening and hunting, and loved her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Allie Mae Elston of Guthrie; one daughter, Kimberly Dawn Thomason and Destry French of Crescent; one son, Raymond Kent Thomason and wife Tina of Crescent; a companion Johnnie Payne of Crescent; two sisters, Linda Sebring and husband Ted of Stillwater and Wilma Sexton and husband Joe of Guthrie; one brother, Stanley Elston and wife Francis of Crescent and one granddaughter, Amber Dawn Thomason of Guthrie.
She was preceded in death by her father, one son, David Thomason and one brother, Delbert Elston.
