Mrs. Icia Iciona Sears Watson Leniger, age 83, who had lived South of Navina since 1890, died Friday night, June 22, 1945 at Broken Arrow where she had spent the winter with her son
Mrs. Leniger was born to David M. Sears and Amanda J. Harper Sears on July 14, 1861 in Decatur County, Iowa. She was married to Alonzo Watson on 6/12/1877 in Reno County, Kansas, who predeceased her. She then married John L. Leniger on 12/26/1881 in Reno County, Kansas. They moved to Navina, Oklahoma in 1890. Mrs. Leniger was survived by five sons, Alvin Leniger and Charles Leniger, of Navina, Oklahoma; George Leniger and Elijah Leniger, of Portland, OR; and John Leniger, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Watson Berry, of Taloga, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Ethel Barr, Dodge City, Kansas; 8 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
