Funeral services for Cora "Corky" Faye Rains, 80, of Guthrie, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 4, 2019 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Ronald Paul Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Crescent. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

Corky was born January 17, 1939 in Guthrie to Unie I. and Cora Z. (Nelson) Clymer. She passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Corky was fun loving and loved life and did it her way. She didn't hesitate to help anyone in need. If she had a dollar and someone needed ninety-nine cents, she'd give them the ninety-nine cents they needed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lois Naomi Anderson, Norma Jean Sullivan, and Dolly Ruth Fowler; and her brothers, Elbert Dempsey Clymer and David Lee Clymer.

Corky is survived by Tony D. Rains of Guthrie; Jake and Rhonda Rains of Whitney, TX; Mark A. Rains of Guthrie; John and Tonjua Rains of Guthrie; six grandsons, one of whom she raised, Jeremy Todd Rains and his wife, Janice of Norman, OK; two granddaughters; five great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters. She is also survived by Jimmy and wife, Janice Clymer of Guthrie; Garry and wife, Paula Clymer of Moore, OK; Patsy Grimes of Omaha, NB; and Margaret Deaton of Guthrie.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M
