Jimmy Aufleger
(November 23, 1957 - August 28, 2013)

Alois James “Jimmy” Aufleger was born November 23, 1957 in Crescent, Oklahoma to William Edward and Mildred Mae (Wolf) Aufleger. He passed away August 28, 2013 in Crescent at the age of 55 years.

Jimmy was born and raised in Crescent and graduated from Crescent High School in 1975. After graduation he worked several jobs in the oil field and construction. He then owned and operated his own tree service. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He was a member of the Crosspointe Church in Crescent.Survivors include his mother, Mae Aufleger of Crescent; two daughters, Nicole and Jamie Aufleger both of Edmond; three brothers, Virgle Bell of Hennessey, George Bell of Edmond, and Eddie Aufleger of Crescent; one sister, Leona Broadway of Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, William, two sisters, Ruby Best and Judy Aufleger, and one nephew, Chance Bell.

Survivors include his mother, Mae Aufleger of Crescent; two daughters, Nicole and Jamie Aufleger both of Edmond; three brothers, Virgle Bell of Hennessey, George Bell of Edmond, and Eddie Aufleger of Crescent; one sister, Leona Broadway of Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, William, two sisters, Ruby Best and Judy Aufleger, and one nephew, Chance Bell.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Crosspointe Church in Crescent with Pastor Mark LeMarr officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home.
