Charles Willis Jones 80, of Perry passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Perry Memorial Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perry. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Morris Heights Cemetery in Orlando with Rev. Sam Jerome officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the funeral home.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Ellen Jones.

Charles is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Jones of Arnold, MD and Susan Jones Beghtol and husband Harvey of Severn, MD; one brother Don Jones and wife Shirley of Perry, OK; and three granddaughters, Jessica Shughrue, Ashley Beghtol, and Casey Beghtol.

Charles was born September 25, 1935 in Orlando, Ok to Orville Henry and Eileen Elma (Rugh) Jones. He lived all of his childhood in the Orlando area where attended and graduated from Orlando High School. He worked in security with NSA while living in Washington D.C. until his health failed him and he retired and came back to the Perry area where he lived until his passing. Charles enjoyed woodworking, leather tooling, gardening, and sports. You could always find him out on his mower cutting grass for a pastime.
