Brian Craig Tyson

Born: May 14, 1994
Died: September 16, 2012

Brian Craig Tyson, Jr. was born on May 14, 1994, in Midwest City, OK, to parents Brian Craig Tyson, Sr. and Irene Michelle Esquivel. He was also known as "Bry-Bry" throughout his childhood.

As a youngling, Brian went to the Guthrie Seventh Day Adventist Church with his Aunt Lashell, sister, and cousins. In his junior and senior years he went to Peoples Church in Oklahoma City with his father. He attended Guthrie Public schools and graduated with his class in May of 2012. His goal was to study nursing at the University of Central Oklahoma so that he could help people.

Brian loved spending time with his friends and family. He grew up with his cousins and was close to them. Pastimes included gaming, watching TV, and surfing the web. Imitating relatives and quoting movie characters were some of his specialties. He could make people laugh without having to try. Brian was so awesome that the mayor declared September 23rd Brian Craig Tyson, Jr. Day. One of the characteristics that stood out was that he was a great listener. Despite his health condition, those closest to him loved being around him. Most importantly, Brian remained humble and gave preference to others before self.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Brian Craig Tyson, Sr.; mother, Irene Michelle Esquivel; brother, Brandon Esquivel of Stillwater, OK; sister, Ashleigh Danielle Harris of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Brittney Chanel Tyson of Guthrie, OK; his paternal aunts, Deatrice Tyson Gbodi, Leatrice Brown(Alfonso) , Lashell Moad, Tequisha Bartram( Joe) all of Guthrie, OK; aunt, Brenda Tyson Sullivan of Oklahoma City, OK; paternal uncles, Duncan Tyson of Guthrie, OK, Marion Tyrone Tyson, Jr.(Annissa) of Columbus, OH; paternal grandfather, Marion Tyson, Sr. of Guthrie, OK; 2 nephews, Jack Eldon Colbert of Guthrie, OK; Amauri Dakota Smith of Oklahoma City, OK; A host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
