Funeral services for Shirley Ann (Miley) Moreno, 68, Guthrie, will be Wednesday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. William Monden officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Community Funeral Home.
Shirley was born May 19, 1935, in Saginaw, Mich., to Donald C. and Edna May (Paule) Miley. She married Gerald Frederick Prindle Jan. 24, 1952, in Saginaw, Mich. She died Friday, March 5, 2004, at Mercy Health Center.
Shirley was born and reared in Saginaw, Mich. She later moved to Guthrie in 1977 to be close to her children. Shirley was a bartender for over 20 years and did ironing for a number of families in the community for four years.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
She is survived by a son, Gerald Prindle of Guthrie; a daughter, Cortis Aldridge and husband Floyd Jacks of Crescent, eight grandchildren: Gerald Prindle I of Oklahoma City, Donovan Prindle, William Aldridge and Julie Wise of Guthrie, Bo Baldwin of Colorado Springs, Colo, Joseph Ruhlig and Monica McCarthy of Saginaw, Mich., and Ronnie Jacks of Crescent; and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Wednesday until service time.
