Dallas Wayne Brasch


Born: March 29, 1953
Died: July 21, 2009

Funeral services for Dallas Wayne Brasch, 56, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Seward Road Baptist Church with Brother Rex Haymaker officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Dallas was born on March 29, 1953 in Davenport, IA to William and Donna Brasch. He died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in Guthrie.

Dallas was a member of VFW Post #4578 and Seward Road Baptist Church and former member of Loyal Order of Moose. He retired from Oklahoma County in 2000 as head mechanic. He loved to fish and spend time with his son.

He is survived by his parents William “Bill” and Donna Brasch of Guthrie; one son Austin of the home and his siblings Gregory and Nicollette Yurich; one uncle Robert Brasch and wife Val of Salem, OR; two aunts Roberta Greenwell and Sharon Majors and husband Raymond all of Guthrie; cousin Jerry Brasch and wife Elaine of Jones, OK; one nephew Jason; and two nieces Angela and Kristie.

Dallas is preceded in death by his grandparents Arnold and Rachel Brasch and Homer and Clara Greenwell; sister Vicky Lynn Brasch; and his son’s mother Collette Yurich.

Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Friday until 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 8400 Silver Crossing, Suite H, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
