Mary died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Cole's Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Barker, 70, of Guthrie, will be Tuesday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Allen Noble officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Guthrie, under the direction of Community Funeral Home.
Mary was born July 5, 1933, in Navina to Jack and Bertha (Denim) Winters. She married Troy Decker in 1949 in Oklahoma City. They eventually divorced. Mary married Jack Barker in 1965 in Logan County.
Mary lived in Guthrie most of her life working at various nursing homes as a CNA and achieving CMA.
She was a member of the Church of God.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother and a daughter.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; two sons; Troy Decker, and Jerry Decker and wife of Joy of Enid; three daughters; Linda Rhodes and her companion Deral Nelson, Mary Smith and husband Phillip, and Jacqueline Barker, all of Guthrie; three brothers; Johnny Winters and wife SueAnn, Eddie Winters and wife Leanne, and Wayne Patterson, all of Guthrie; two sisters; Mona Reupert and husband Willard of Guthrie, and Freda Scott of Tulsa; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Monday, April 12, from noon - 8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 13 from 9 a.m. until services time.
