Rita Lorayne (Eustice) Austin, age 84 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away February 16, 2016 in Guthrie. She was born on April 2, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe and ZeAnna (Clote) Eustice.

Rita graduated from Holy Family High School in Tulsa. She attended college at Benedictine Heights in Guthrie. Rita Married Charles Austin on January 27, 1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guthrie.

Rita worked at Ken English Clothing and Logan County Court House in the County Clerk Office. She served with Logan County Red Cross, St. Mary's PTA, she was a Girl Scout Leader and loved gardening, especially flowers. Rita served with St. Mary's Altar Society for many years. People loved her chocolate cake which she made for everyone who asked and donated many to Altar Society functions.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years Charles Austin, children Bob Austin of Dallas, TX, Marilyn Austin Clark and husband Ron of Guthrie; grandchildren, Genevieve White of Dallas, TX, Stefan Clark of Marshall, Kylie Clark, Kathleen Clark and Brian Clark of Guthrie, Allen Austin of Dallas, TX; great grandchildren, Sean Croy, Alexander Croy, Bradley White, Cambrie White and Laylah Helsel. She is also survived by her siblings, Sister JoAnn, Don and Eileen. Rita was preceded in death by her parents Joe and ZeAnna Eustice; siblings, Thad, Larry, ZeAnna, Mary Lou and Rose Marie; and grandchild Sean Clark.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 19, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Stephen Austin of St. Francis de Sales in Idabel and Rev. James Wickersham of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel.
