Gregory Louis "Greg" Smith, age 56, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away September 18, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 27, 1958 in Enid, Oklahoma to James and Edith (Helberg) Smith.

Greg attended Guthrie Schools and lived most of his life in Guthrie. He was employed with the Guthrie Public Schools. Greg married Cheryl Watts on July 1, 2006 in Guthrie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating

Survivors include his wife Cheryl, daughter Gracynn Smith of Guthrie, brother Rocky Smith and wife Arlene of Guthrie, sister Kellie Dunn and husband David of Tecumseh and his in laws Richard and Nancy Watts of Guthrie.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM, at Mckinley Cemetery in Meridian, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home

Visitation will be held on Wednesdayfrom 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to a charity of your choice.
