This information provided by Ruth Krienke Brady:

Please note Frieda Freudenberg(er) is the sister of John Freudenberg(er). She died from an appendicitis attack and is not John's spouse.

John died from his injuries in an auto accident. He was a single man. My mother, Anna (Elsie) Freudenberger Krienke, was driving the car which had mechanical failure causing the accident.

The family name was shortened to Freudenberg during the WWI.

Also in the same cemetery is their youngest sibling Helen Freudenberger Holmes. Phillip Freudenberger (brother) and spouse Louise are also buried there.

Elsie (and spouse Walter Krienke) are buried in the family plot in Guthrie which includes her parents, John Andrew and Thersia (Karner) Freudenberger. Another sibling, Iris Freudenberger Holmes is buried in the same plot.

This Lutheran cemetery was known as the Pleasant Valley Cemetery after the community which no longer exists.

Please contact me if you would like more information about the family. Regards, Ruth Krienke Brady, Roswell, GA.
