Alma Louise McCubbin
Born: January 07, 1913
Died: July 18, 2009

Mass of Christian Burial for Alma Louise McCubbin, 96, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Denis Hanrahan officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrie Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Alma was born on January 7, 1913 in Marshall, OK to Riley and Victoria (Gehle) Higgs. She passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Guthrie.

Alma was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and charter member of Abell Farm Womens Club.

She is survived by two sons Bill McCubbin and wife Lynne of Georgetown, TX and Fred McCubbin and wife Sharon of Nathrop, CO, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe McCubbin in 1967, and two sisters Katie VanHauen and Sister Rosina Higgs.

A Prayer Vigil will be held at Smith Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Wednesday, noon until 8:00 p.m.
