Funeral services for Shirley Anthis Ingram, 86, of Guthrie, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrie Cemetery located north of Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

Shirley was born February 8, 1931 in Guthrie to Ivan Delbert "Pat" and Marie (Gooch) Anthis. She had one sibling, Patsy Lou Rutherford. Shirley went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Edmond, OK.

Shirley married Thomas Auston Ingram on May 31, 1952 in Guthrie. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2014. They were married for twenty-three years and had five children. They traveled extensively as a career military family.

She grew up in Guthrie and continued her education receiving her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oklahoma. Later, Shirley attended Central State University where she worked on her Master's Degree in Educational Assessment.

Shirley is survived by her five children, Tom Ingram and John Ingram both of Sacramento, CA; Andrea (Ingram) Sopinski of Leawood, KS; Tony Ingram of Guthrie; and Peter Ingram of Seminole, FL; eight grandchildren, Andree, Tommy, Marc, Lan, Alicia, Carter, and Avery Ingram and Max Sopinski ; and three great-grandchildren, Paxton Ramirez – Ingram, Meadow Ingram - Rubino, and Denver Ingram.

She was an amazing mother and grandmother and aunt. Her family were her world. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and is now at peace with Christ her Savior.

Visitation will be held Saturday, 10:00 A.M.-1:30 P.M.
