Died: November 02, 2011

Mass of Christian Burial for Alissa Lea Ellison, 48, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guthrie with Father Robert Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrie Cemetery, north of Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Alissa was born on August 24, 1963 in Guthrie to Robert and Beth Ann (Johnson) Ellison. She passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Raymond and Juanita Ellison and Lee and Dorothy Johnson, one aunt, and two cousins.

Alissa is survived by her parents sisters Kim Ellison, Patty Bock and husband Jeff, and Debbie Malatesta and husband Mike; brother Russell Ellison and wife Tina; nieces and nephews Lindsey Ellison, Allison Clymer, Priscilla Bock, Jonathan, Raymond, and Levi Malatesta, and Hamelton Bock; great-nephew Dylan Radford; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Viewing will be Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Prayer vigil will be held Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Smith Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local food bank or a hospital charity of their choosing.
