Glen Edwin Blair, AKA ???The Big Dummy???, age 79 of Guthrie, OK, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. Glen was born on October 19, 1938 in Lockridge, OK to John and Madge Blair.

He graduated from Guthrie High School in 1956. He married Janet Elenora Klick on April 15, 1962. Glen served in the Army Reserves several years and worked at Tinker Air Force Base from 1962 to his retirement in 1992.

Glen is survived by his wife, Janet; daughter, Jana Renee and husband, Peter Taylor; and granddaughter, Arrowanna Elizabeth, all of Guthrie; his brothers, Frank and Shirley Blair, of Crescent and Dale and Sara Blair of Guthrie; and sister, Helen Blair of Guthrie, as well as nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Glen is preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Denise Blair; his parents; and a brother, Ralph Blair, of Arizona.

Glen, ???The Big Dummy???, was well known for his sense of humor, practical jokes, and generosity. He never met a stranger and was known throughout the community for his acts of kindness.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Lawrie Cemetery with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
