The funeral for Margaret Ann Zachgo, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church at Crescent. Burial will be in the Crescent Cemetery under direction of Abernathy Funeral Home.

The casket will be open until noon Friday at the funeral home. It will remain closed at the service.

She was born Dec. 2, 1936, in Kingfisher County near Dover to Phillip and Anna Lou Payne Cochran and died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1994, at her home in Crescent.

On March 28, 1954, she married Herschel Zachgo at Crescent. She was a homemaker, a life-long Crescent area resident and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Mickey of Crescent and Gary of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Christi Lewis of Kingfisher; one brother, Max Cochran of Crescent; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant chrildren and two sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division, or Guthrie-Edmond Hospice.
