Phyllis Ann (Cutter) Head Obit

Phyllis Ann Head, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK. She was born May 6, 1936 in Crescent, OK to Albert and Juanita (Hilderbrand) Cutter. She was a 1954 graduate of Crescent High School.

Phyllis was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and attended several area congregations, throughout her life. She married Ted Vernon Head in 1955 in Oklahoma City. Phyllis and Ted owned and operated a commercial cleaning business for many years. Phyllis continued working in the business, until failing health forced her to retire.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ted, and three sons Tim, Lon, infant son Michael, brothers Elwin Cutter, Jack Cutter, Winston Cutter, infant brother, and sister Rose Mary Astley.

She is survived by her sons, Jay and wife Diane, Len and wife Melissa, Mark and wife Chasity, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brothers, Jerry Cutter, Duane Cutter, Melvin Cutter, Charles Cutter, and Glenn Cutter, sister, Alberta Blalock, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a graveside service at Crescent Cemetery on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:30 am, at which her son, Lon who died on May 17, 2020 and was cremated will be laid to rest along with her.
