Eva B. Gregory
(October 17, 1914 - January 28, 2014)

Eva Gregory was born in Hammond, Oklahoma on October 17th, 1914 to David and Tommie Webb. She passed away at the age of 99 on January 28th, 2014.

Eva wedded Ed Gregory on March 30th, 1932 in Enid, Oklahoma. Eva and Ed lived in Drummond, Oklahoma, moved to Braman and finally located in Crescent in 1950.

Ed and Eva raised five children in Crescent. Jerry and Darrell, who both have preceded her in death, Karen Kay Whitfield and Eddie Gregory both of Crescent and her son Dick Gregory of Kansas City, Missouri. Eva had 19 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Eva is survived by brother Fred and his wife Darlene Webb of Oklahoma City, and brother Jim and wife Anita Webb of Jones, Oklahoma. She is preceded in her death by her husband, two sons, her mother and father, three grandchildren, five sisters and two brothers.

Eva was a devout Christian and raised her family accordingly. She worked in the home and on the farm and participated in all the activities of her family.

While the world went through the Great Depression and two world wars, Eva focused on family and Jesus for 99 years. She enjoyed attending church services and singing hymns.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at the Crosspointe Church in Crescent, Oklahoma with Eva’s grandson, Mark Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of your choice or to the Frontier County Museum for the care and upkeep of the little Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church, which was the foundation of her spiritual life.
