Margaret Chambers
(September 30, 1928 - April 11, 2012)

Margaret Chambers was born September 30, 1928 in Guthrie, OK. She passed away April 11, 2012 in Guthrie, OK at the age of 83 years.

In 1956 Margaret married Kenneth Chambers and became a Mother to his son, Robert. Margaret and Kenneth lived in Crescent through out their lives and were active and involved members of their community and church, First Christian Church of Crescent. Margaret loved waitressing and did so at several local cafes’ for many years. She and Kenneth enjoyed going out to dinner with friends and family and spending time at the farms. Margaret was full of life and loved everyone she knew. She loved visiting with people and never knew a stranger.

Survivors include a son, Robert Chambers of Crescent; daughter in law, Marita Chambers; five grandchildren, Nicki Theodridis, Jacki Hudak, Karla Gundy, Bryan Sheehan, and Neil Sheehan; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 16, 2012 at the First Christian Church with Pastor Keith Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
