Wayne Gene Cassiday

A graveside service for Wayne Gene Cassiday, 60, of Prescott, Ariz., will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, in Crescent Cemetery . Local arrangements are by Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home, Crescent .

He was born Feb. 14, 1948, in Enid to Clifford and JoAnn Huffer Cassiday and died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, in Prescott, Ariz.

He graduated from Marshall High School in 1966. He attended college in Durant. He served in the Army in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged with two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart.

Surviving are two daughters, Eda Jo Cassiday and Sally Jean Cassiday, both of Crescent ; one step-daughter, Marcia Jones and one step-son Perry Jones, both of Sapulpa; one brother, Dwayne Cassiday of Arkansas City, Kan.; one granddaughter; and three step-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by an infant son.
