Soloman Burns- Born Aug 30, 1847 in Marshall County, Indiana. Reached the age of 65 years, 6 months and 2 days. Married Martha Phillips 1886. They had 5 children Lewis Burns,Mrs Sadie Rice, Forest D Burns, Mrs Myrtle Parent and Robert Burns

Leaving Indiana in 1869 to settle in Kansas only to return that same year. Returned in 1878 to McPherson County,KS until and moved to Oklahoma during the Land Settlements


He is survied by his widow, 5 children, 2 brothers Andrew & James W. Burns

Services were held May 5, 1913 with Rev G.H. Simons. He was laid to rest at Crescent Cemetery.
