Louise Ellen Bailey
(December 9, 1914 - August 14, 2009)

Louise Ellen Bailey was born December 9, 1914 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Fred and Lula (Jacobson) Trapnell. She passed away August 14, 2008 in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years.

Louise attended Guthrie Public Schools and graduated in 1933. She married Joe Bailey and they moved to Hennessey where she worked as a book keeper and remained there until his death. She moved to Crescent to be with her sister Jessie and lived there until her death. Louise was a perfectionist and had incredible knowledge of numbers. She was very meticulous on her book keeping. Louise like going and visiting at the City Cafe’ and Kelly’s Café. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crescent.

Survivors include, one sister, Jessie Shore of Crescent and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Louis and Freddy and by one sister, Helen.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Crescent with Rev. Steve Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Viewing will be Monday, August 17th from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
