Funeral services for Anna Alene Blackmon, 79, of Crescent will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999 at First Baptist Church in Crescent officiated by Rev. Marty Harkey. Burial will be in Crescent Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent.
She was born Jan. 22, 1920 in Crescent to Roy and Eva Wilson Waller. She died Oct. 17, 1999 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie.
Anna married Harold Blackmon on Oct. 10, 1941 in Crescent. He died July 6, 1999.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crescent and the Crescent American Legion Auxiliary.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant brother.
She is survived by one sister, Verna Bobbitt of Crescent.
Visitation will be until 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The casket will be closed during the services at the church.
Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church building fund.
