Leona Rose Wright was born in Eureka Kansas on May 20, 1951 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 14, 2018 at the age of 67 years.

Leona was the daughter of Otis and Mary Alma (Ashlock) McCleary. She was a resident of Chandler and worked as a volunteer for the Consignment Store in Chandler. She loved her family and love shopping, flowers, and peonies was a favorite flower. She married Philip Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Phil of the home, four sons, Mike Murphy & wife Tammy of Ft. Worth, Texas, Steven Murphy of Chandler, Gaylen Murphy & wife Dolly of Locust Grove, Billy Wright & wife Kristina of Bentonville, AR, two sister, Iona Watson of Meeker and Brenda Sisson of Meeker, seven grandchildren, Michael Murphy, Paige Diver, Dylan Murphy, Sierra Murphy Chris Wright, Isaiah Wright and Alyssa Wright, two great grandchildren, Evan Murphy and Cayson Diver, step mother, Rosa Sturm of Meeker, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at the White Dove Cemetery on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Paul Ragle officiating. Service is under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
