Leona Mae Robinson Freeze

freeze-l-m

November 12, 1947 ~ Jun 28 2025

It is with deep sorrow and boundless love that we share the passing of our mother, Leona Mae Freeze (known to many as Annette), whom the Lord called home on June 28, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, she departed peacefully, wrapped in the love she so selflessly gave throughout her life.

Leona was born on November 12, 1947, in Butler County Pennsylvania when her twin brother, Lawrence Glen Robinson, demanded she check things out first. Her tenacity, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved guided every step of her life. She was known for having a sweet spirit, being creative and crafty, and devoting herself to helping others.

She believed her greatest achievement in life was becoming a mother until she became a grandmother. "I never knew what pride felt like until today," Leona said, then she changed her name to Nana Freeze and wore it as a banner for all to see.

Leona was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bonnie Stewart and Golden Fry. Her parents, Leona Pearl Hays and Wilford Glen Robison, Her siblings Lawrence Glen Robinson, Lawana Robinson, and grandson Marc Nicholas Allen.

She is survived by siblings: Karen Ewanick, Rob Robison, David Carter, Patty Herriman, and Charles Hay, Jr.

Leona's legacy continues with her daughter Kimberly Allen of Tecumseh, OK and grandson's Max Allen of Norman, OK, Zac Allen of Tecumseh, OK, Derrick Allen and wife Juli of Saint-Genis-Pouilly, France. Her daughter Katrina Dilbeck and husband Justin of Norman, OK with their children Gabrielle Dilbeck of Norman, OK, Brooklienn Dilbeck and fiance Chance Hart of Yukon, OK, and Tyler Justice Dilbeck of Norman, OK. Her son Joseph Freeze and wife Dina of Prague, OK with their daughters Audry Freeze and fiance Jake Brownfield of Prague, OK, and Ava Freeze of Prague, Ok.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am July 3, 2025, at the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks officiated by her brother-in-law Wayne Herriman. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
