Command Sgt/Maj Glen Moore passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on December 28, 2010, after a valiant battle with cancer and heart disease. He was surrounded by family and friends to the very end. He was a WWII veteran and career Army soldier who was considered by his commanding officers to be the finest NCO they had ever had.

Born on July 10, 1919, he was married to Betty Johnson in 1945, and they had four children, Robin, Glenda, Shannon and Wayne. He was a devoted husband and father, a Little League coach and Boy Scout leader. A mentor and role model to many boys and men, he will be deeply grieved by many.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. January 8, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the H.I. Jones Scholarship Fund c/o Margaret Gibson, 3827 W 760 Rd, Tryon, OK 74875.
