Mrs. Will A. Howard died at her home four miles north of Stroud on Saturday March 15, and was buried in the Tolleson Cemetery Sunday March 16. Mrs. Howard had been a sufferer from the dread disease tuberculosis, for a number of years, gradually becoming more emancipated and growing weaker until the past year, she has been confined to her bed and as helpless as a babe. She lived in the hope of the resurrection beyond this life.

She was a devoted and faithful wife and a fond and loving mother.

Mr Howard sought medical aid and change of climate in the hope of lengthening the days of his wife, but of no avail as grim death had his fangs so securely planted that death was her only relief.

May her body rest in peace and may her spirit dwell in that eternity where sickness and death are unknown.

The Democrat extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
