Floyd Gilman Jr. was born in Depew, Oklahoma on August 1, 1941 and departed this life at his home in Stroud on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the age of 77 years.

Floyd was the son of Floyd Sr. and Clara (Tettelton) Gilman. He was a resident of Stroud most of his life. He worked for Miller Truck Line as a dispatcher, was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Stroud. He love to farm, work with his cattle and fish. He was married to JoAnn Eledridge for 48 years. JoAnn preceded him in death August 22, 2013. He married Verna Breshears and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Reed.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Gilman & wife Alicia of Stroud, Ron Gilman of Stroud, two brothers Roy Gilman & wife Wanda of Stroud, Donald Gilman & wife Joan of Stroud, one sister Juanita Huggins & husband Harry of Davis, five grandchildren Elton Koch & wife Chyloe, Malynn Smith & husband Jeremiah, James Gilman, Brian Gilman, and Matt Green, five great grandchildren Emily Green, Jordon Green, Lexi Koch, Olivia Koch, Denver Green, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held at the Stroud Cemetery on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor James Bond officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
