Carrie RaeAnn LaDeaux

With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Carrie RaeAnn LaDeaux a beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter and aunt. Carrie always had a bright smile and was full of laughter that could be heard all around. She found immense joy in being with her family and friends and she will be so very missed by all.

Carrie RaeAnn LaDeaux was born on August 26, 1976 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Chenenia Mae Morris Ladeaux and Benjamin Ladeaux Junior. Carrie is an enrolled member of the Sac and Fox Nation of Oklahoma and of Ogallala Lakota descent. She grew up in Stroud Oklahoma and graduated from Stroud High School in 1994. After high school Carrie attended Northeastern Oklahoma A& M College on a softball scholarship. Carrie returned to Stroud, Oklahoma after college before moving to Anadarko Oklahoma with her family and late mother Chenenia Ladeaux. While there she was employed as a Housing Specialist with the Wichita Housing Authority. Carrie returned to Stroud and began working with the Sac and Fox Nation.

Carrie had worked for the Sac and Fox Nation for a number of years as the Title VI Elders Coordinator and most recently returned as a Probate Technician for the Realty Department. She was also an active member in the Sac and Fox Tribal Community, and member of the Activity Committee, she served in the positions of Vice Chairman and Treasurer, as well as the Treasurer for the Rodeo Committee and a member of the Employee Committee.

Carrie is preceded in death by one daughter Lillian Grace, mother Chenenia LaDeaux, brother Kyle Nullake, grandmother Celestia Morris, Aunt Barbara Warrior, Uncle's Russell Big Bow, Morris Gene Warrior and Dean Ray Tartsah.

Left behind to cherish her memory are three sons Elijah Ladeaux and Gabriel Barnes Of Stroud, D'Angelo Barnes of Stillwater; and 3 daughters AisLinn Munson, Izabella and Nheenia Barnes of Stroud; parents, Angela, and Patrick Gasper Senior, sisters Angela Warrior, Ashley (Kyle) Pacheco, Courtney Cozad, Whitney Standing; brothers Justin and Cody Morris, Patrick and Jayden Gasper and grandmother Linda Standing; special sisters, Carrie Spang, Shanarae Boyd, and Maria Starr.
