Donald Gene Ashcraft departed this earthly life on February 27, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born to Robert and Elsie Ashcraft on December 31, 1951, in Meeker, OK.

Donald grew up in what was known as Midlothian, OK. After graduating from Chandler High School in 1970, he joined the United States Army. He proudly served in the Vietnam War during his time in the Army.

A beloved brother, cousin, and friend, Donald was also a “funkle,” the fun uncle. He enjoyed laughing, and spending time with relatives and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie Ashcraft, sister, Virginia Holleman; and brother, Bob Ashcraft. Survivors include his children, Shon Ashcraft and Donisha Imes; siblings, sister Sue Shipley and husband Jerry; brother Danny Ashcraft and wife Rosie; brother Tim Ashcraft and wife Doris; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Donald was a joyful presence in the lives of those who knew him and will be missed by many.

A funeral will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 6, 2026, at the funeral home with interment following in the Rossville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
