Wilma Dortha (Murray) Miller-King, long-time resident of Chandler, Oklahoma, passed away on December 5, 2021, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 96.

Wilma was born on February 24, 1925, in Carney, Oklahoma, to Elmer Nickles and Stella Elizabeth (Farrow) Murray. She grew up and attended school in the Carney area.

Wilma married the love of her life, C.R. Miller Jr., on July 13, 1940, and spent 36 wonderful years with him, raising 4 children together, until he passed away in 1976. She went on to marry Bill Mascho in 1979, the two together until his passing, and then on to marry Lee King in 2009, the two together until his passing.

Wilma was the hardest working woman you could ever meet. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She loved the outdoors and spent her time gardening, farming, raising cattle, chickens, and rabbits. Wilma had quite the green thumb and would strive to have the prettiest yard in town. She restored many old historical homes in Chandler and managed them as rental property. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing. Wilma recently celebrated 50 years as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler.

Most importantly, Wilma’s life revolved around her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If there was anything you ever needed, family or friend, she would be there to help you.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Stella Murray; husbands, C.R. Miller Jr., Bill Mascho, and Lee King; two sons, Jerry Miller, and Bobby Dean Miller; two sisters, Ava Mullis, and Fern Lyons; two brothers, Lindal Murray, and Oral Murray; infant twin siblings; a granddaughter, Carrie Duncan; her daughter-in-law, Charlene Miller; and two sons-in-law, Kosol Boontheekul, and Roger Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughters, Pam Boontheekul-Johnson, and DeAnn McEntire and her husband, Clifford; grandchildren, Tarena Hallmark, Keven Miller and wife Debbie, Bobby Kent Miller and wife Ann, Ronn Miller and husband James, Kristel Hayes and husband Chris, Joe Duncan, Kathi Alsip and husband Andy, Dustin Boontheekul and wife Shinta, Pataya Scott and husband Matt, Christopher McEntire, and Nichole Prater and husband James; a daughter-in-law, Judy Miller; 18 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of other extended family members and friends.
